Baby Boomers Religion

Every New Year people have hope that things will be better in the coming year than they were in the previous year, but very few do a single thing about it, that is; mentally and spiritually make an honest assessment reviewing ther lives and determine to make changes that will reap benefits for them in the coming year. Usually it’s a flickering moment of fleshy worldly like behavior wishing and hoping without any real substance for life changing goals or contribution to ones own well being. Eating less and exercising more to lose weight is number one on most list. Quitting smoking or drinking less usually ranks at the top also in the pool of fleeting desires. But what about making a change that will have lasting consequences not just for a few weeks or a year but for an eternity?
The best way to do this is so simple but yet takes ones deep courage and determination to make it come to pass that it’s almost impossible, in fact it is impossible to do it alone. What is this one single thing that will make 2017 a better year than 2016? Finally realistically falling on your face before God, humbly asking God to forgive you of your sins and failures of the past and giving up completely totally releasing your life into the hands of The Master, Jesus Christ. Giving up and giving in to God is the only answer. He alone has the compassion and gives the grace and faith to you to be able to start fresh, become new, and walk into a new realm of peace you never knew existed. You will actually feel His presence and begin to hear His voice in your spirit that you never ever comprehended before. Jesus said if you lose your life you will find it. In other words if you are willing to give all of yourself to Him and follow Him, you will find real life for eternity. There is no magic formula, no works that you must perform first, no sequence of Hail Mary’s, no washings and no money that must be given. All sinners in the Bible came Just as They Were. “While we were yet sinners He died for us.”

Now here’s the catch if you can call it a catch, it will cost you something. Giving your full life to Jesus may cost you problems in your family or with friendships (It’s weird but as long as you sinning everything is ok, but the minute you are born again and change your lifestyle, suddenly it’s a real problem) your family and your friends may think your nuts or gone off the deep end but I promise you persecutions will come in one form or another but it’s so worth it all, believe it. Now instead of just falling back into the same old same old ruts and sins and bondages you had, you will now be free. You will understand what real love is from God, agape love and even passing through the storms of life whether you have little or much, you will be content knowing your heading to a place much greater than this world but a new heaven and a new earth where God will live with you for eternity 2017 for you will be directly related to how your relationship with God is. Mark it down. The closer you are, the better your year will be. If not, you could be in for a rough ride.

In many places like America, there’s is renewed hope that things will turn around for the better, but let’s be clear; no man or government on earth can save your soul or give you the peace that passes all understanding especially when hard times hit. Look for great progress and great disappointment in 2017. It’s not just America that is split down the middle, it’s most nations around the world and riots and killings and disasters will still go on. Let’s hope no wars do but that is possible. Why? Because God is shaking planet earth, shaking the nations and shaking the people to see who will stand up for righteousness and truth and God. Many evil forces are at work and many evil people are controlled by the devil and his demons, so the war of the ages roars in the Spirit realm for the souls of mankind. There is a much better way ” repent and be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit and live your life fresh and new in the Lords grace. Peace to you all in this Christmas season remembering Jesus came into the world to save us all..remember, surrender all and cry out to God, He will hear you and come to you….
