Too Embarrased to Go to Heaven

Too embarrassed to go to Heaven
There are so many backslidden Christians (or people who call themselves Christians) that at one time in their life believed on the Lord Jesus Christ and were even baptized that are so far away from the Lord, it will take some serious act of God for them to repent and turn back to their first love and once again live in a restored relationship with Jesus Christ.
They are now so caught up in the worldly things like getting a new car, a new house, new and better husband or wife, and a host of material things that will not matter when they die. Some have a life of drugs, sexual immorality, and pursue only more money. Their hearts have been darkened with a cesspool of worldly pleasure. Deep down inside their thoughts flash back to the time they actually had peace and were living like real Christians. For those who really were saved at one time in their life, the hounds of heaven still pursue them and grab at their heels through many methods trying to get them to get up, wake up and look up again to the Great Almighty who loves them even in their sin and wants them back serving Him.
For one hour on Sunday, they might even play the church game, but come Monday through Saturday they spend their six days a week denying Christ. At work and with friends and family they never speak of Jesus or God. Oblivious to the moving of the Spirit. They don’t share a testimony or the good news of the gospel, and they certainly don’t speak out on social issues like homosexuality or abortion or same sex marriage or any biblical truths. Too embarrassed to let others know they are believers, they become too embarrassed to go to heaven.
The greatest of all apostles wrote in Romans 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.” Believers who are ashamed of Jesus and the gospel and are too embarrassed to show their belief and are probably not going to make it into the kingdom of heaven. I have mentioned in other blogs that the the first ones listed as being thrown into the lake of fire are the cowards. God has no room for cowards and neither does heaven. Jesus said in Matthew 10:32-33. Jesus said “count the cost” and “take up your cross and follow me”

“Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father who is in heaven. Keeping silent is denying Jesus. Hiding ones Christianity is denying Jesus. They are just too embarrassed to go to heaven.
2016 and beyond will become perilous times. Those who are closet Christians will be shaken to the core in every sphere of their lives, financially, physically, mentally, and spiritually. Those who have just been religious and chose to straddle the fence and only use Christianity as a means of gain and convenience will have it the worst. Those who once knew God and fell away into sin God will restore immediately with sincere repentance and prayer and faith. No matter how long they have been away or how many sins they have committed, Gods mercy last forever and ever. His grace is always available to those who ask for it. His mercy never fails and His love is not conditional. On the other hand, salvation is conditional. Conditional on faith and repentance and belief that Jesus blood covers all sin. Thousands will repent and come back home to God during the coming perilous times, but so many others are just be too embarrassed to go to heaven….
