Holy Spirit Baptism is For All Believers
We have all heard the saying “Knowledge is Power”. Every company in world teaches this
to their employees, and every University in the world pounds this in their
students heads. Now if God says in Hosea 4:6 ” My people are destroyed for lack
of knowledge”, why do so many saved Christians simply rely on their Pastors or
Priest to tell them the gospel instead of studying for themselves to find the
truth? Unbelief is actually preached from the pulpits of America because they
follow their denominational doctrines. The perfect example is the Baptism of the
Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Acts 7:51 states: ” You
men who are stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears are always
resisting the Holy Spirit; you are doing just as your Fathers did.” Now that’s
quite a statement…but it doesn’t have to be that way….Let’s take a look at
what every saved Christian is entitled too and the blessing that
accompany it.
First of all Jesus Himself said in Acts 1:5 ” for John
baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days
from now.” and again in verse 8 “but YOU will receive power when the Holy Spirit
has come upon you….” Everyone has heard the story of Pentecost how they were
ALL filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues. But wait,
that was then right, not for today? Give me a break, what you saying is I am not
going to believe it is for today as our denomination doesn’t teach
that….Really, how could anyone not believe that it’s for today when you read
Acts 2:17-21 ? “…I will pour forth of My Spirit on All Mankind…..its not
just for 2000 years ago. Jesus pours forth this promise of the Holy
Spirit…Jesus, have you asked Him believing in faith to pour out the Holy
Spirit that is promised on you? Your unbelief will rob you of such a blessing
that God has promised you. Forget what you church says, Believe the Bible, not
the doctrines of men….Lets look further….
Look at Acts 2:39 ” For the
Promise is for YOU and your children and for all who are far off
as many as the Lord our God will call to Himself.” What promise? look at
the verse above: the gift of the Holy Spirit !! This promise is for anyone who
is saved, not just for certain denominations or special people. Will you believe
the Bible or your denomination? Unbelief will keep most of the things God has
for you to bless you and help you. Crack through that barrier of denominational
teaching and believe the Bible. You will say to yourself, ” Oh I wished I had
done this long ago….Ask Jesus to baptise you in the Holy Spirit even now….He
will, but you must ask.
Remember how you got saved ? You believed from
your heart, it’s the same in receiving the Holy Spirit, believe from your heart
and you will open up a new realm of God’s blessing and wonder. Let’s say you are
saved and have followed the Lord in baptism and you have not yet received the
Holy Spirit Baptism or spoke in tongues…Look at Acts 8:14-17:” Now when the
apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent
them Peter and John, who came down and prayed for them (the Gentiles, like you
and me) that they might receive the Holy Spirit . For He (the third person of
the Godhead the Holy Spirit) had not yet fallen upon any of them; they had
simply been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then they began laying their
hands on them, and they were receiving the Holy Spirit.” So you see the
baptism of the Holy Spirit was not taught that you are supposed to receive Him
when you come out of the water back then in all places, just like today, it is
still not taught correctly.
But thank God you can receive the Holy Spirit
by laying on of hands or better yet, when you pray and ask Jesus Himself to
baptise you by faith, for it is Jesus who gives the gift (the promise) when you
pray with faith believing just like when you got saved. It’s so sad that most
denominations rob you of this great anointing because of their traditions and
doctrines of men.You receive POWER when you receive the Holy Spirit…Look at
Acts 10:38: ” You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy
Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing ALL
who were oppressed of the devil, for God was with Him.” and in Acts 11:16,17:
“….John baptized you with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy
Spirit.” ….” if God gave to them (the Gentiles, like you and me) the same gift
as He gave to us also after believing in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I
that I could stand in God’s way ?” You seeing it now? Yep, it’s for you
too!
Look at Acts 5:32 ” And we are witnesses of these things; and so is
the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey Him” See, you are
guaranteed to receive the Holy Spirit if you obey Him. You have obeyed Him
right? You became a Christian, you were saved right? So you have all the same
rights anyone has to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit ! You know full
well, God is NO respecter of persons….He doesn’t play favorites….
How can any preacher or priest or Christian not believe Mark 16:17,18 ? These
signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out
demons,they will speak with new tongues, they will pick up serpents, and if they
drink any deadly poison it will not hurt them,they will lay hands on the sick
and they will recover.” Uh Oh, your pastor or denomination has
dismissed this quote of Jesus Himself because of the phrase they will pick up
serpents and IF they drink any deadly poison , it will not hurt them.”
Duh…what happen to Paul in Acts 28:5 when a viper came out and bit down and
fastened on Paul’s hand and they expected him to die but he shook it off and
suffered no harm ? Or what about the numerous stories of the early evangelist
and missionaries today who have been snuck poison and it did not kill them?
Unbelief of your pastors and priests, spilling forth a doctrine of unbelief,
because their faith is dull and they hold to their traditions of men and
traditions of their denominations. And honestly, many would get kicked out of
their churches if they preached the truth, so in order to keep their jobs, they
turn their heads away from the truth. Are you kidding me, Jesus Himself spoke
Mark 16:17,18, so is Jesus a liar, I don’t think so. God is not a man that He
can lie. Don’t get mad at me, get mad at your church and teachers who don’t
preach the whole truth for the sake of their tradition or church doctrine. But
now you know the truth. You see it for yourself, you are just as worthy as the
early Christians to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit! Do we break
fellowship with them? No way, we love them as they are saved and are our
brothers in Christ, They are just lacking the faith concerning the Holy Spirit
and knowledge of what they are promised. Probably not being taught in their
denomination.
Speaking in tongues is for today as you have seen with your
own eyes. Now look at I Corinthians 12. Here, you see the gifts of the Spirit.
and in verse 13 it says “For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body,
whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.” Chapter 14
verse 5 states “Now I wish that you all spoke in tongues, but even more that you
would prophesy.” how can you do either if you have not received the baptism of
the Holy Spirit? Verse 39: Therefore my brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy,
and do not forbid to speak in tongues.”
There are so many more
verses in scripture to validate the baptism of the Holy Spirit but lest I wear
you out I will finish with this: Paul says in I Corinthians 2:4,5 ” and my
message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in
demonstration of the Spirit and Power so that your faith would not rest
on the wisdom of men, but on Power of God. and finally in I Corinthians
4:20 ” For the kingdom of God does not consist in Words, but in POWER. Is there
power in your life? What about your church? Are signs and wonders and
demonstrations of power happening there? Why not ? Unbelief….. but now you
know you can have power, the power of God, the power of Jesus, the power of the
Holy Spirit. Just pray in faith today believing just like you did for salvation
and the anointing will be yours forever…..

good gifts to your children, how much more will the Heavenly Father give the
