Why your prayers don’t get answered..
Most people pray if only now and again or when disaster strikes, but do their prayers get answered? For those not in tune with God that answer is probably no. There is really a few simple reasons why this happens and it’s as plain as the nose on your face. First let’s take a quick look at what is actually recorded in the text of life; the word of God.
1st John 3:21 says this :”Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight. This friends, is the first and foremost reason prayer results never come. First reason is “if our hearts does not condemn us” and this speaks volumes. Our hearts are condemned by KNOWN SIN in our lives. Why do people think God will overlook their know Unconfessed sin? Some never even stop to think “But there is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known.” (Luke 12:2) Just look at what’s happening today, all the Revelation coming out about people’s private sex lives , not to mention all the corruption being exposed in governments around the world. We are just witnessing the tip of the iceberg with much more that will come out in the coming weeks and months. And how do they try and get your mind off of what’s happening? Simple just create a false flag; some sort of disaster or new narrative to change the subject or news cycle; thus creating a false flag. It’s the same with individuals; just divert attention away from the truth.
Secondly, “ if you heart condemns you, you have zero confidence when you pray” your just wasting your breath and your words just hit the ceiling and drop to the floor.
However; if you heart DOES NOT CONDEMN YOU, you have great confidence because you are clean and not hiding known sins because you have truly repented of those sins and they are forgiven and forgotten. And if that’s the case you have every right to EXPECT an answer from the Almighty Father in heaven! We have the faith to know that because we do things that are pleasing to God and keep His commandments with no purposeful sin in our lives, God will absolutely, positively answer our prayers in due time.
The only other way that doesn’t happen is if we ask for things with the wrong motives.”You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures.” (James 4:3) For example: God I want a brand new car. Instead of Father please help me get a car so I can get to work and keep my job. Or God I need more money (and you thinking of all the ways you can spend it) instead of saying Father please give me great favor with my employer and supervisors so I can get a raise to help me pay my bills and give more to the poor and my church.
If you have no hidden sins and you know what hidden sins are; sneaking around and having an affair or watching porno, or stealing from your place of work, or causing dissensions by gossiping behind people’s back, or lying to cover up your weaknesses like DRUGS or alcoholism or homosexuality or any number of things that are too numerous to mention. You know if you have secret sins and you know exactly what they are and why they are being done. IF so, then cry out to God for His forgiveness and repent in sorrow and He will forgive you and restore you.
So the bottom line in getting your prays answered is this: have a clean heart that does not condemn you when you pray and your prayers will get answered in due time as you rest in assurances that God hears your prayers and loves you and will answer them. So stop doubting and stay strong and take courage, because God never fails and know He may test your faith during the process to see if you are faithful and mean business. “Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.” Don’t you think it’s about time you start believing and using your faith and see the answers come?
