If you’re all in, you have been Baptized…

I’m amazed how many people who are believers in Jesus Christ don’t bother to get baptized because they think they are saved and don’t need too, even though Jesus commanded it. The excuses are many and they don’t hold water (pardon the pun).

Faith without works is dead and it takes some effort to go and get baptized which really is a work that ultimately gives the Holy Spirit permission to move and work in our lives, but it’s much more than that, let’s take a look at a few examples.

First let me say baptism in and of itself is not salvation, it takes a sincere repentance from our hearts asking forgiveness for all our sins after we have come to believe from our hearts Jesus Christ is God’s only begotten Son. But it’s more than that, it means we have decided to follow His teachings and worship and love Him with all our hearts. Unless we come to Jesus as little children we haven’t really come at all. God requires a humble heart and He resists the proud.

Excuses are so lame when what it really amounts too is unbelief and laziness or a lack of total commitment to God which is required. You can’t be a halfhearted Christian when it’s convenient, lukewarmness will send you to hell as Jesus said “ I will spew you out of my mouth.” If you’re afraid to get baptized in public all that really means is your a coward, unless you live in a Country where you have to keep your beliefs underground or risk dying. The time to have courage is now.

Doctrines like “once saved, always saved” are demonic at the root and have no basis from scripture. The truth is you must remain faithful unto death to faith in Jesus and by His grace we are saved through faith and that faith includes baptism and believing what the Bible says.

Matthew 28:19 Jesus said “ 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. This is a command from the risen Son of God!

Mark 16:15,16 “And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. So here Jesus says whosoever believes AND is baptized shall be saved. Again this is the Son of God telling us we must be baptized, no excuses.

Acts 16:30-34 “30Then he brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”

31They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, you and your household.” 32Then Paul and Silas spoke the word of the Lord to him and to everyone in his house. 33At that hour of the night, the jailer took them and washed their wounds. And without delay, he and all his household were baptized. Here we see the jailer believed Jesus is Lord and he and his entire household got baptized that very hour of the night. So what’s the rush to be baptized you might say? The rush is baptism is part of your salvation, without it you’re on dangerous ground. Remember Jesus? “ he who believes AND is baptized shall be saved.” I don’t care what your pastor or priest has taught you if it goes against the truth of the Bible and you shouldn’t either.

Romans 6: 1-7 “1What then shall we say? Shall we continue in sin so that grace may increase? 2Certainly not! How can we who died to sin live in it any longer? 3Or aren’t you aware that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? 4We therefore were buried with Him through baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may walk in newness of life.

5For if we have been united with Him like this in His death, we will certainly also be united with Him in resurrection. 6We know that our old self was crucified with Him so that the body of sin might be rendered powerless, that we should no longer be slaves to sin. 7For anyone who has died has been freed from sin. And when someone dies do we just sprinkle a little dirt on them and walk away? No we put them in the ground. So Baptism is our watery grave being buried with Jesus and rising to walk a new life, and in the future resurrection to rise again to glory because we have been water baptized. Our old self is crucified with Him so we are no longer slaves to sin. Do we still sin? Yes but we are not slaves to sin and verse 14 states “For sin shall not be master over you for you are not under law but under grace.

Baptism is cutting off sin from our flesh. “11In Him you were also circumcised in the putting off of your sinful nature, with the circumcision performed by Christ and not by human hands. 12And having been buried with Him in baptism, you were raised with Him through your faith in the power of God, who raised Him from the dead.” Still think baptism is optional? Think again.

I Peter 3:21 “ In the ark a few people, only eight souls, were saved through water. 21And this water symbolizes the baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body, but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God—through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, 22who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers subject to Him. Baptism is a necessary part of salvation, Jesus said so and the above verses prove it and there are many more verses not mentioned here for space sake.

Finally, some denominations preach the heresy that because the thief on the cross didn’t get baptized and made it to Paradise with Jesus, they don’t have to either and baptism is not necessary. Well that’s bunk and here’s why:

20When Jesus saw their faith, He said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.”

21But the scribes and Pharisees began to contemplate this and ask, “Who is this man who speaks blasphemy? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”

22Knowing what they were thinking, Jesus replied, “Why are you thinking these things in your hearts? 23Which is easier: to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk?’ 24But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on the earth to forgive sins…” He said to the paralytic, “I tell you, get up, pick up your mat, and go home.”

Jesus has authority to forgive sin and that’s exactly what He did for the thief on the cross. Besides Jesus had not yet died and risen so His command to believe and be baptized had not taken place or gone into effect yet. Being baptized in the likeness of His death could not happen until He had died and arose from the dead. This is an excuse for not wanting to be baptized or to back ones church doctrine, it’s heresy.

Now many who fight about this are themselves baptized so go figure, it’s just another doctrine of demons that crept into the church in America, Christians in other nations never believed this false doctrine. Romans 10:10 is true “ 8But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart,”that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: 9that if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For with your heart you believe and are justified, and with your mouth you confess and are saved.” AND so is Romans 6:3,4 “3Or aren’t you aware that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? 4We therefore were buried with Him through baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may walk in newness of life.”

We must be born again by the Spirit to see the kingdom of God and when you believe and are baptized you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit if you believe the Bible in Acts 2:38-39 For the promise is for you and your children….it doesn’t come from the water, it comes from Jesus…

The Coming Immortal Supernatural Race( And it’s not AI)

This coming race will be immoral and able to do things no human has done before, but one. They will be able to appear and disappear and walk through walls. They won’t need food for nourishment, but they can eat all they want if they want. Their knowledge will be ageless and nothing will be held from them. They will live on a brand new planet earth and enter into a city that almost defies description with streets of pure gold and live in mansions that are so priceless, no value can be attached to them. This city has twelve gates that never close and each gate is made of a single pearl. There won’t be any night there because there won’t be any need to sleep, everyone will be superhuman and energized continually. No factories to produce electricity for light because God is light and will live among these people. Every color of the rainbow will be seen and every beautiful scent will be smelled. Myriads and Myriads and thousands upon 10,000’s will live there all together forever and ever in this place that has no sickness or disease or death or sin. The city itself is 1500 miles wide by 1500 miles long by 1500 miles tall, like a cube. Every person who has ever lived since the beginning of time could easily fit in this beautiful city with room to spare. No telling how big the new planet earth will be for this city will set upon it. The city’s name is called the “New Jerusalem”. A river as clear as crystal flows through the Main Street of the city from the throne of God and the Lamb. On either side of the river stands the tree of life yielding twelve kinds of fruit, a fresh crop for each month and the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations and there will be no more curse. These immortals are here because of the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony and their names were found written in the book of life. They kept the faith and did not love their own lives even unto death, but lived for the Lamb. His servants will worship God and the Lamb and His name will be on their foreheads. Each one will receive a while stone with their new name on it known only to the one that receives it. They will see His face and be like Him as they will see Him just as He is. The One who is and was and is to come.

You can become immortal too and live forever loved by your maker who created you and loved by billions of others who will share eternity with you, but you must be born again of the Spirit of God by repenting of your sins and believing on the Lord Jesus Christ from your heart and give your life to Him and mean it. Jesus said “ He who believes and is baptized shall be saved, He that believes not shall be condemned “ The choice is yours and yours alone….read Revelation 21-22

The war between God and man is over

“Grace to you and peace, from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne, and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood— and He has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father—to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. BEHOLD HE IS COMING WITH THE CLOUDS, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen.”

      “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

So what can you say now? Jesus who loves us has released us from our sins by His Blood—Easter is not about the bunny rabbit and eggs whom the world brought to the forefront through deception to keep our children’s eyes off of the cross and the blood shed by Jesus for our sins, and retail who’s millions in sales stuff their registers with money from candy, clothes, and plastic buckets and yard ornaments.

No, no, no; it’s about the Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary by the Holy Spirit and giving up His life by His Blood to release us from our sins and rising again if we believe through faith that God is who He said He is and will reward those who follow His commandments living faithful until the end. These truths must absolutely Be taught and especially to our children and grand children and especially on Easter weekend. Easter egg hunts are fun for the kids but they must understand first that Easter is about Jesus dying and rising again so we too can rise up in the resurrection and live forever with God in heaven.

You’ll notice all through the old testament (old covenant) God was angry many times at mankind and was a God of wrath in many ways and even destroyed mankind in a great flood because of the severe and great wickedness upon the earth, but that all changed with Jesus. All God’s wrath and anger was placed upon Jesus on the cross and after Jesus died and rose again, Gods great anger ceased because the price was paid and the age of grace came about. Now we don’t have to kill bulls and goats and sacrifice to God because Jesus is our sacrifice, our forgiveness, our righteousness. Romans says sin shall not be master over us any longer because of grace. Thank you King Jesus, you are worthy to be praised!

Jesus is coming back and will destroy the wicked and cast them into the lake of fire. He said “You must be born again” that is your spirit must be new and your mind renewed. “ He who believes and is baptized shall be saved Jesus said, does that include YOU? Repent and call on Him even today, even right now, come just as you are and God will clean you up when you surrender to Jesus Christ. He alone is the door, the gate, so go in and find peace and joy and love and eternal life in midst of this sick and sinful generation..and this Easter remember to teach it’s true meaning….

God’s Final Word in His Son

1God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, 2in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world. 3And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, 4having become as much better than the angels, as He has inherited a more excellent name than they.

      5For to which of the angels did He ever say,

            “YOU ARE MY SON,

            TODAY I HAVE BEGOTTEN YOU”?

            And again,

            “I WILL BE A FATHER TO HIM

            AND HE SHALL BE A SON TO ME”? (Hebrews 1:1-5)

Many people don’t realize that pre-incarnate Jesus has always been there from the beginning with God and in fact God made everything, this world, this universe, and every single thing that exists, whether seen or unseen through Jesus Christ. Jesus is the great “I Am” and the word. John says it this way “ 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was in the beginning with God. 3All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.” (John 1:1-3)

Back to Hebrews 1:3 “Jesus is the Exact representation of the Fathers nature and Jesus is the one who upholds ALL things by the Word of His Power.”In other words, everything in the universe works by the WORD of Jesus. The sun, the moon and the stars all obey His Word thus orbiting and obeying His word.

So you realize that:

“While the earth remains,

Seedtime and harvest,

And cold and heat,

And summer and winter,

And Day and Night

Shall NOT Cease.”(Genesis 8:22) So much for global warming destroying the planet. I’ll take the word of God over anyone else’s doomsday theory’s. At the end of time though, this world will be burned up and God will roll up this universe like a robe the Bible says. Because God Has a new universe and new earth and a new Jerusalem for us at the end of time. (Revelation 21:1,2) Check it out:

“But about the Son He says:

“Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever,

and justice is the scepter of Your kingdom.

9You have loved righteousness

and hated wickedness;

therefore God(Jesus)Your God(The Father) has anointed You

above Your companions with the oil of joy.”

10And:

“In the beginning, O Lord, You laid the foundations of the earth,

and the heavens are the work of Your hands.

11They will perish, but You remain;

they will all wear out like a garment.

12You will roll them up like a robe;

like a garmentf they will be changed;

but You remain the same,

and Your years will never end.”

( Hebrews 1:8-12)

So you see Jesus is everything, He IS and was and is to come He’s always been there with the father and even before the foundation of the world He decided He would lower Himself a little lower than the angels and empty Himself into Mary by the Holy Spirit and become flesh so He could offer up Himself with His blood to make purification of sins. Now when we believe with our hearts and confess with our mouths after repenting and show our good works in keeping with our repentance we are saved and being baptized we die to sin by faith and we will also be raised up in the resurrection to live forever as immortals, never to sin again, to be with the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit and the Angels forever and ever and ever.

All authority in heaven and earth has been given to Jesus. The price has been paid, His work is finished, your sins are forgiven if you repent and call on His name and stay faithful to the end. Father God gave His only begotten Son because He loves you and wants you with Him forever. Surrender to Jesus and I’ll see you there someday in the glorious New Jerusalem that sits on a new earth…..It has never even been imagined or even entered the heart of man what glory God has for us who are faithful to the end….

Why we are sorrowful, yet always rejoicing inside

Anyone who says the Christian walk is a piece of cake is either walking the fence of lukewarmness or has not been tested on the battlefield of faith. As we look around the world and see the great lawlessness and injustices happening right in front of our eyes we are deeply saddened at the state of the world and the nation knowing great peril lies around the corner. What has happened to society’s moral compass when laws are passed granting killing of innocent babies up to and even after they are born? This makes us sorrowful. But in all things we endure because we have the same spirit living inside of us that raised Jesus from the dead; the Holy Spirit. By this we rejoice at the same time knowing our citizenship is in heaven and we are not of this world and belong to another Kingdom, the one spoken of down through the ages that was coming, for we belong to the Kingdom of God. Jesus said “My Kingdom is not of this world” and so it is.

Wars and rumors of wars have come and earthquakes and famines are here yet Jesus said “do not fear, these are only the beginning of the birth pangs” and these things must take place. Still again this makes us sorrowful and we continue on with a joy inside knowing we are waiting for that great getting up morning when the dead in Christ shall rise and we who are alive will be changed in a twinkling of an eye into immortals and we shall be like him as we shall see Him face to face. What a time of rejoicing that will be.

Here on earth we have troubles just like Jesus said but He also said “Be of good cheer I have overcome the world” and He did and has and we will reap the rewards if we remain faithful and true until the end. Our faith is tested on many fronts, in troubles, hardships, and calamities, in riots, in labor, sleepless nights and sometimes hunger. In slander, and praise, viewed as imposters, yet genuine. As unknown, yet well – known, dying and yet we live on, punished, yet not killed, poor, yet making many rich, having nothing yet possessing everything. Some of us in beatings and imprisonment in great endurance. “Sorrowful yet always rejoicing” says the great Apostle Paul.

It is possible to be sad or sorrowful and rejoice with the joy of salvation at the same time deep inside. You know the testing of our faith is worth more than gold, and we must pass the tests and know and believe inside our hearts Jesus has already won the battle against Satan and Jesus has the keys of the Kingdom, the keys of death and hell and of the grave. We have already won the victory through Jesus Christ. This world is passing away along with all its lusts and the end of this age is near. Don’t quit ever, never ever. Those thoughts are lying spirits coming from the father of lies. If you have failed in some way then get up, dust yourself off, humble yourself and repent and come boldly to the throne of grace in your time of need. God is faithful and just to forgive you of your sins when you call upon Him. It is impossible for Him to lie and what is written will be carried out and that includes forgiveness, especially forgiveness when we repent.

We all have fallen short, we have all sinned, we have all turned our back on God in some way but listen; “ His mercy is new every morning” it’s a new day everyday and His loving kindness is everlasting from generation to generation. Who is like our God? No one……

If you lose your faith will baptism still save you?

What kind of question is that you say? You would be surprised how many people actually believe it. The truth is we walk by faith, not by sight and salvation requires us to keep our faith to the very end of our lives. The Bible says many will fall away from the faith in the last days listening to doctrines of Demons. In my last blog I discussed how we are credited righteous by God when we believe from our hearts in Jesus Christ as the Son, but how important is baptism? I would venture to say so many people don’t understand baptism and many never even get baptized even though Jesus commanded it right before he went up into heaven after the resurrection. Let’s take a look….

In Colossians 2:11-15 it states:” 11In Him you were also circumcised in the putting off of your sinful nature, with the circumcision performed by Christ and not by human hands. 12And having been buried with Him in baptism, you were raised with Him through your faith in the power of God, who raised Him from the dead.

13When you were dead in your trespasses and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our trespasses, 14having canceled the debt ascribed to us in the decrees that stood against us. He took it away, nailing it to the cross! 15And having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. So here we see Jesus actually removes the body of our flesh by the spirit; in other words Baptism represents Removal, a putting off or laying aside of our sinful nature by FAITH when we are baptized. Thing is baptism is as much as an act of faith as believing in Jesus, the trouble is people aren’t taught that and come up out of the water just like they went in with absolutely no change in their lives and showing no fruit for the experience. You don’t get baptized to join a church or to follow a doctrine, you get baptized because Jesus said to do it. It involves believing because your baptized WITH Jesus you will be raised up WITH Jesus by faith. Can you make the resurrection then without baptism? You decide. The Bible says we are buried with Christ and rise with Christ. Immersion is the Greek form of the word baptized so I don’t think sprinkling counts. So you sprinkle dirt on a body? No you bury it. Stay with me here….

Romans 2:28 states “ 29But he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that which is of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter; and his praise is not from men, but from God. Baptism is a circumcision from your old life as a a sinner cutting off your old lifestyles and living with a new heart and mind. “9Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. 10For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.(Romans 5:9-10) see we are justified by His blood. Finally seeing the great significance of baptism in a Christians life we read Romans 6: 3-11, 14 “ 3Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death? 4Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life. 5For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection, 6knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin; 7for he who has died is freed from sin.

      8Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, 9knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, is never to die again; death no longer is master over Him. 10For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. 11Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.

What’s the outcome? Verse 14 “For sin shall NOT be master over you, for you are not under law but under GRACE.” We will still sin at times but sin can no longer be master over us. We become freed from sin.

Have you been saved and never baptized? Why delay any longer find a church who will baptize you in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Or get someone to baptize you in their swimming pool or at a river or lakefront even a bathtub. If you’ve never been saved then repent and believe on the Lord Jesus and mean it with all your heart and confess Jesus as Lord…..an then get baptized…

Why Believers today are righteous like Abraham

Many people especially Christians, think righteousness is something gained by working hard at it, something you strive for, but it isn’t at all. Sanctification and holiness is something you strive for, but not righteousness.

True righteousness is not something derived from the law, but righteousness is imputed directly to you from God on the basis of your faith in Jesus Christ. In other words if you believe Jesus Christ is Gods Son, the Messiah, the Savior of the world and Lord, God reckons (credits) that faith you have in Jesus as righteousness. And because you are righteous then you are justified. And you are an heir of all the blessings of Abraham. That seems impossible but it is the truth. Let’s take a look…

Abraham was not Jewish at the time when he became the father of faith. He was 99 years old when he was circumcised and God made the old covenant and the nation of Israel began to form. So as God had planned it, Abraham became the father of many nations as a gentile and on the basis of faith God approved him as righteous because he believed God. He didn’t become righteous by sacrificing bulls and lambs, he became righteous by his faith. James 2:23 says “and the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “AND ABRAHAM BELIEVED GOD, AND IT WAS RECKONED TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS,” and he was called the friend of God.

Now look at Philippians 3:9 and notice the Apostle Paul said that he didn’t have a righteousness of his own derived from the Law (the old covenant) but we have through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of FAITH! So you and me are both righteous because we have faith in Jesus. It’s not an earned thing we do, it’s by the Grace of God. Are you getting this? I hope so.

Now the Apostles taught this gospel, this word of faith and said in Romans 10:9,10; “

That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;

for with the heart a person believes, resulting in RIGHTEOUSNESS, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in SALVATION.

I am righteous and you are righteous if you believe from your heart in Christ. Isn’t that great news? In the new covenant as in the old God reckons our faith, our belief in Jesus as righteousness. The new covenant is the blood of Jesus, which He shed for all mankind. It was paid once and for all.

“ and having been made perfect, He became to all those who obey Him the source of eternal salvation , being designated by God as a high priest according to the order of Melchizedek. (Heb. 5:9) THEREFORE He is able to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.”(Heb. 7:25) Repent and confess Jesus as Lord if you haven’t already done so and you too will be righteous.

“Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.” (Hebrews 7:25)

“ And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment, so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.” (Heb. 9:27-28)

Now your job is to live a sanctified and holy life free of sexual immorality, to love God and your neighbor as yourself.

“Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. This is why “it was credited to him as righteousness.” The words “it was credited to him” were written not for him alone, but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness—for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.” (Romans 4:20-25) Do you now understand how we are saved by grace through our Faith in Jesus? And that faith comes from God and is not of ourselves but freely given to those who believe…Stop trying to earn salvation by doing things from yourself to please God. Have faith and Love Him and your neighbor and abstain from sexual immorality and get baptized as Jesus commanded….
